If you follow the
link to the overview map, (look for the red arrow on the page), you
will see that we are based in rural Hampshire in the heart of the "tech
triangle" -- Basingstoke, Reading, Bracknell. For a detailed Ordnance
Survey map, click
here.
We are equidistant to London Heathrow
and Gatwick airports, as well as to Southampton airport. The nearest
Motorway is the M3 (Junction 5). Winchfield has its own railway station,
with frequent services to London Waterloo (55 minutes travel time). |
Directions to Winchfield (St Mary's Church)
From the A30, heading west come through Hartley Wintney to the garage
at Phoenix Green (about 1 mile after Hartley Wintney, direction of
Basingstoke). Turn LEFT towards Odiham. Then turn left at the sign for
Winchfield Railway Station. Past Winchfield Railway Station on your
right, continue under the railway bridge; 1/4 mile later, turn right where
signposted "St Mary's Church/Odiham". After houses on your left, you
will see the entrance to St Mary's churchyard (1/4 mile from the turning).
From the M3, exit at Junction 5 towards Farnham. At the roundabout ¼
mile later, follow the signs for Farnham. When the Odiham by-pass gets a
divider in the middle, you will shortly turn left marked Winchfield,
Potbridge over a cattle grid. 1/4 mile later turn right at the sign
saying "Whitehall" and the signpost
(obscure) to Winchfield Church. About 2 miles later after bends
(careful!), you will see a Gothic school on the left; St Mary's Church is on
your right, with parking in the field behind during the Festival (please
not in the churchyard.) |
